Where is your jewellery made?

Every piece is handcrafted in my London studio using traditional jewellery-making techniques.

What materials do you use?

My collections are primarily made from recycled sterling silver, with selected pieces available in gold vermeil. Material information is listed on each product page.

Is every piece unique?

Because each piece is handmade, slight variations in texture and finish are part of the making process and make every piece uniquely yours.

How long will my order take?

Ready to Ship pieces are normally dispatched within 1–2 working days.

Made-to-order pieces require the production time shown on the product page before dispatch.

Do you offer custom or bespoke commissions?

I occasionally accept bespoke commissions depending on availability. If you'd like to discuss a project, please get in touch via the Contact page.

Can I request a different ring size?

If your size isn't listed, please get in touch before ordering. I'll always do my best to accommodate custom sizing where possible.

How should I care for my jewellery?

Do you offer repairs?

Yes. If your jewellery becomes damaged through normal wear, please get in touch and I'll be happy to discuss repair options.

Can my gold vermeil jewellery be re-plated?

Yes. Gold vermeil naturally wears over time, particularly on pieces that are worn every day. I offer a professional re-plating service to restore the gold finish. If your piece could benefit from a refresh, please get in touch for further information.

 

Jewellery Care

Every piece of Ella Bonomi Jewellery is handcrafted to be worn, enjoyed and treasured for years to come. With a little care, your jewellery will continue to develop its own unique character while remaining beautiful for everyday wear.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver naturally oxidises over time and may develop a soft patina. This is a normal part of the metal's ageing process. To restore its shine, gently polish your jewellery using a soft polishing cloth.

Gold Vermeil

Gold vermeil is a thick layer of gold plated over sterling silver. Like all plated jewellery, the finish will naturally soften with wear over time, depending on how often the piece is worn and how it is cared for.

To help preserve the finish, avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, lotions and household cleaning products, and store your jewellery separately when not in use.

If your gold vermeil piece begins to show signs of wear, I offer a professional re-plating service to restore its finish. Please get in touch for current pricing and turnaround times.

General Care

• Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping.
• Avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics and harsh chemicals.
• Store each piece separately in its box or a soft pouch to help prevent scratches.
• Wipe jewellery gently with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing to remove oils and moisture.
• Handle gemstones and pearls with extra care, as they can be damaged by impact or chemicals.

Cleaning

Most pieces can be cleaned with warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth. Dry thoroughly before storing. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing compounds unless specifically intended for precious jewellery.
